Water settlement tanks are used to remove the silty contaminants from water being pumped from ground holes, allowing unwanted waste water to be discharged in accordance with environmental agency guidelines PPG1.
The pump is connected to the inlet port, wastewater is then pumped into compartment one allowing the silt to settle. When the first compartment is full the water flows into a second compartment through a mesh grid which removes any larger objects (paper, plastic etc). Compartment two then fills before allowed wastewater out through the discharge port. The inlet and discharge ports are fitted with 4” or 6” bluer connectors.
